Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is Quick Connect our all new easy Point motor system. we set out to create something meaningful and something to help the model railway community at an affordable price.
what is Quick Connect
Quick connect is our new standard in point motor alignment tools all tools share the same hole pattern and spacing making a new standard.
We have made a new mounting plate to fit PL10E and PM10 style motors that use our new mounting standard with more plates coming soon to fit seep, servo and slow action.
QUICK CONNECT replaces the struggle to fit point motors to layouts, making it easy and quick. The new quick connect standard uses a simple snap in place design making servicing easy in the future.
how to mount quick connect
Simply mark and drill your holes just like any of our Point Motor Alignment Tools once that is complete screw in the washers that come pre-applied with screws into the mounting holes and simply snap your motor in place with a clockwise motion.
Mounting your motors to your plates is different depending on the motor you are using. For plates that fit PL10E and PM10 style motors simply guide the six tabs and pin on the motor though the six matching holes and pin slot, Then flip it over you will see 3 larger cutouts giving you room to either bend over or twist the tabs securing the motor to the plate.
